Lakshya Sen is a rising star of Indian Badminton. He first stormed onto the scene in 2018 after he won multiple medals at the 2018 Youth Olympics.

The success was the foundation stone for the young star who also hit the ground running at the World Junior Championships. One of the highlight reels of his career has been the success at the Thomas Cup in 2022.
Having started his career at a young age, Lakshya Sen was a promising talent and he lived up to the expectations. At just 15, he won bronze at the Asian Junior Championship and has since not looked back.
Lakshya has glittered the badminton court on multiple occasion and has added multiple feathers to his already impressive cap at a small age.
Having missed out in the 2018 Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast in 2018, Lakshya Sen made his intentions clear to win India a medal in 2022. Although he and Team India ended as second best and won silver medal, Lakshya still did enough capture to capture imagination.
Since winning a bronze medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2016, he has followed that success with another a better performance. In 2018 Asian Junior Championships he went one better and won Gold for India.
His brilliant 2018 can only be rounded off by his double tally at the Youth Olympics. Lakshya won silver in boy’s singles and gold in the Mixed teams event to mark his arrival at the international stage. Laskhya also won bronze at the World Junior Championships.
2021 World Championships the young shutter won bronze medal for India and having earlier won bronze at the Asia Team Championships.
However, if the biggest achievements are taken into considerations Lakshya can put forward the Thomas Cup success in 2022 along with the Birmingham Commonwealth Games silver medal.
Lakshya Sen is unmarried and is single. He more often then not spends time at the court.
