Mitchell Starc is one of the fearsome pacers in modern day cricket history. Declared Man of the Tournament in the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Starc was key members of the victorious Australian squad.
Born on 30 January 1990 in New South Wales, Mitch Starc became the world’s fastest bowler to clinch 100 ODI wickets in 2016. On August 21, 2016, he took 100 wickets in just 52 innings. The record is currently held by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan who took only 44 innings to reach the benchmark.
He bowled a delivery at 160.4 km/hr in a test match in 2015 against New Zealand Clocks 150 kph+ regularly
