England batsman Kevin Pieterson's cryptic tweet has stirred the social media after he indicated his retirement from all forms of cricket. Soaring heights: Born to English mother and an African father, Kevin Pieterson had to leave South Africa after he suffered the agony of racial quota that prevailed in his native country. He went to England to search for greener pastures and earned an English citizenship to play for their national side. Pieterson made a mark in his maiden season hitting 1,275 runs at 57.95 which included a knock of 218*. He ended his Test career with 8,181 runs in 104 Test matches at an average of 47.28. In 2013 he became England's highest run-scorer across all formats but his the fame was short lived and his career suffered a jolt. Due to his strained relations with the ECB, his career came to a premature end in 2014. He last represented the three lions in the Ashes of 2014 in Sydney.
