The son of former India batsman Rahul Dravid, Sambit smashed 150 in the Karnataka State Cricket Association's (KSCA) BTR Cup Under-14 tournament, giving his father a birthday present to be proud of. The former India captain has turned 45 today. In his illustrious career, the batsman earned himself titles like "The Wall" and "Mr. Dependable". He was best known for his non-breakable defensive technique, gritty character and commitment to the sport. Dravid is a recipient of the ICC Player of the Year in 2004. Dravid still remains a servant of Indian Cricket, currently working in a mentoring role for junior-level teams like India A and India under-19.
