Axar Patel is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for the Indian national team and Gujarat in domestic cricket. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spinner. Patel made his international debut for India in 2014, playing in the One Day International format. He made his Test debut in 2021, becoming an instant success by taking 11 wickets in his debut test match and also scoring a century. He was also part of the Indian team that won the 2020 ICC T20 World Cup. He is known for his ability to bowl economically and his aggressive left-handed batting. He has become a key player in the Indian cricket team and is considered as one of the best all-rounders in the world.
