कारगिल विजय दिवस 

 

60 दिनों का कारगिल युध्द 26 जुलाई, 1999 को खत्म हुआ था. 26 जुलाई की ही कारगिल विजय दिवस मनाया जाता है. आज उन्नीसवीं कारगिल दिवस पर, आम आदमी से लेकर, राजनेताओं, खिलाड़ियों ने शहीदों के लिए श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की.
भारतीय सेना के निदेशक ने एक तस्वीर साझा की जिसमें कारगिल युद्ध के शहीदों को दिखाया गया था. इस पोस्ट में यह भी बताया गया था कि कैसे इस युद्ध को अंजाम दिया गया था.

 

कुछ इस तरह क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों ने अर्पित की श्रद्धांजलि 

 

1998-1999 की सर्दियों में पाकिस्तानी सेना एलओसी पार करके भारत में घुस आई थी, जिसमें वे ऑपरेशन बद्र को अंजाम देने वाले थे. उनका मुख्य मकसद था कश्मीर और लद्दाख में अपनी पैठ जमाना ताकि सियाचिन ग्लेशियर से भारतीय सेना को हटा सके. इन सबके कारण कारगिल युद्ध की स्तिथि उत्पन्न हुई. दोनों ओर से परमाणु युद्ध संभव था. कारगिल युद्ध में ऑपरेशन विजय चलाया गया, और इसके बाद भारत विजयी हुई और इस दिन की कारगिल विजय दिवस के रूप में मनाया गया.

 

इस युद्ध के दौरान भारतीय वायु सेना के 527 जवान शहीद हुए थे. 

 

स्थानीय लोगो ने भारतीय सेना की मदद की थी
स्थानीय लोगो ने उस वक़्त पाकिस्तानी सैनिकों की घुसपैठ के बारे में भारतीय सेना को बताया था. स्थानीय लोगों की सहायता से घुसपैठियों को खोजा गया था, और भारतीय सेना ने उन्हे सही अंजाम तक पहुंचाया था.
आज कई खिलाड़ियों ने ट्विटर के जरिए भारतीय सेना के शहीदों को  अर्पित की.

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS

The completion of Operation Vijay on July 26, 1999, led to the end of the 60-day-long Kargil war and marks the day as Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Today, on the 19th Kargil Vijay Diwas, commoners, politicians, celebrities are paying their tributes to the martyrs who gave up their lives for the safety of our nation.

Additional Directorate General of Public Information (Indian Army) shared a photo marking Kargil Vijay Diwas and honouring the martyrs. The post also emphasised on how Operation Vijay was executed.

INDIAN ARMY’S TWEET

In winter of 1998-1999, Pakistan armed forces infiltrated the Indian Territory via LOC in an operation named ‘Operation Badr’. The main aim of Pakistanis to sever the link between Kashmir and Ladakh and pressurised Indian forces to withdraw from the Siachen Glacier.

This led to an all-out war in the Kargil- Dras sector between India and Pakistan in which nuclear assault was seen as a possible move from Pakistan side. They responded with Operation Vijay, which included 200,000 Indian troops. The war came to an official end on July 26, 1999, thus naming it as ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’.

527 SOLDIERS HAD LOST THEIR LIVES

Vijay Diwas also commemorates the sacrifice of 527 soldiers from Indian Armed Forces.

INDIAN ARMY CAME TO KNOW ABOUT IT BY THE PEOPLE

The local people informed the Indian Army about the possible invasion by the Pakistanis who then traced multiple infiltrations in and around Batalik, Dras, and Kaksar sector.

The Pakistani tactic being disturbed, local Kashmiri protestant, was also quickly discovered by India.

The Indian Cricket Fraternity took to Twitter and paid their respects to Indian Armed Forces and celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas.
