Trent Boult Yorker: The Mumbai Indians (MI) are currently taking on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the match No.24 of this blockbuster Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The defending champions have not performed to their best of abilities so far in the ongoing tournament having won just two of their five games. However, the good news for the Mumbai Indians’ fans is that the team has completed their difficult Chennai-leg of matches and will be hoping for a new energetic start at this new venue in Delhi.

The RR batting trio of Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson provided a great start to their team in the starting few overs. However, MI’s premier pacer Trent Boult came back strongly during the death and bowled a fantastic yorker delivery to shatter RR captain Sanju Samson’s stumps.

The Rajasthan Royals have done really well to reach a challenging total of 171 for 4 in their quota of 20 overs against MI in this match. Buttler played a quick-fire cameo of 41 runs off 32 balls that included 3 sixes and as many fours while his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal also smacked some crisp shots during his 32 runs of 30 balls. RR captain Sanju Samson was the top-scorer for his team in the first innings with 42 runs off 27 balls that consisted of five boundaries. The MI bowlers did make a good comeback during the death to pull off things on the scoreboard. For MI, leg-spinner Rahul Chahar was the pick of the bowlers picking two crucial wickets in his quota of four over having conceded 33 runs while Bumrah and Boult finished with a wicket each.
