PAK Playing 11: Pakistan will take on West Indies in the final T20I here at Providence Stadium, Guyana with an aim to win the series. So far, two matches in the series have been abandoned due to rain and only one game has been possible. Pakistan won that match taking 1-0 lead in the series. Pakistan defended 157 in the second game by bowling tight lines. They will have a tough task in hand against hard-hitting WI batsmen but it will be an ideal preparation for them ahead of T20 World Cup. Pakistan leads West Indies 12-3 in the head-to-head record in T20Is.
Team News
Mohammad Rizwan (wk) Sharjeel Khan Babar Azam (C) Fakhar Zaman Mohammad Hafeez Sohaib Maqsood/ Azam Khan Shadab Khan Hasan Ali Mohammad Wasim Jr. Haris Rauf Usman Qadir
Pakistan rely heavily on Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan at the top. Both are world-class batsmen and have been in good form lately. It will be a big opportunity for Sharjeel Khan to stamp his authority before the T20 World Cup. The eyes will be on the middle order which is team’s biggest concern at the moment. Bowlers have bowled collectively well and their wicket-to-wicket lines have been hard to pick on slower pitches. Hasan Ali and Usman Qadir will be the players to watch out for.
