BOS vs MIA Dream11: I have learned recently how essential it is to have a strong record till December because even if many teams can turn around their seasons every now and then, you don’t want to fall behind early. The 82-game long season for each team also means that you have to build strong habits and capitalize upon them in long run, that is why you have to start at a high rate. The two teams who meet here in Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are prime examples of how different habits affect the overall picture.
The Celtics are having another tough season, yes, they are one game above the 50% win mark but I doubt that they have garnered much hope from the fanbase as the duo of Tatum-Brown looks like a championship-level duo but have come up short again and again. Well, how will the management fare during the trade deadline?
On the other hand, Heat built strong habits till December and learned how to do a lot with short-handed lineups too. They are one of the deepest teams in the league and they have been doing a wonderful job of winning regardless of the combinations. Now, with Butler and Adebayo back, can’t they mount a big run? Match-ups There is one huge difference between the Heat and Celtics. The team depth has been a huge concern for the Celtics while Heat has been buzzing big-time. The Celtics have been unable to scrape multiple wins in a row while the Heat has made it an agenda that even if they don’t get huge winning streaks, they don’t lose in bunches. This is due to the enormous difference in terms of the bench strength between the two teams. The one-guard position has been a concern in terms of offensive production for the Celtics too.
The wing match-up between Tatum and Butler has to be one of the best match-ups in the league. Defensively, both players bring a lot to the table with Butler having a slight edge. Meanwhile, offensively, Tatum has the edge but is not a decisive one. Both are all-around players and their teams feed off their rhythm. This is a big match-up because of the isolation abilities of both the players and can engage in the exchange of buckets.
Off-guard Jaylen Brown can take the fight to the Heat’s defense but let me tell you something, Heat matches it up with multiple players. Duncan Robinson is a three-and-D option who can eke out quality perimeter jumpers and he alone can minimize the damage done by Brown. Now, let us come to the bench combinations. The Heat can deploy Herro who can combine with Butler and Adebayo to form a formidable trio on the offensive end.
In the middle, Adebayo and Tucker are two strong and physical players who can take the fight to you on the defensive end. They will square against Robert Williams and Al Horford and this is where the Heat has the edge. This is where the Heat can inflict damage too because both Adebayo and Tucker can also eke out quality offense too. Now, we have discussed multiple positions, the bench strength is north and south and with Strus, Martin, reserve Vincent, and Dedmon, the Heat can outmatch the Celtics as Richardson, Schroeder, and Williams combination.
