1/2- Virender Sehwag- 319

The opening batsman Virender Sehwag hit two triple centuries in his career. His highest score of 319 was against South Africa in 2008 at Chennai.

3. VVS Laxman- 281

One of the greatest knocks under pressure in test cricket, VVS Laxman amassed 281 runs and helped India to secure a famous victory in 2001 Test series against Australia at Kolkata.

4. Virat Kohli- 254*

In October 2019, the former Indian captain remained unbeaten on 254* off 336 balls to steer the team in posting a big score on the board, and ultimately winning the match.

5. Karun Nair- 303*

The middle order batsman who did not return to the Indian team after scoring a triple century, is Karun Nair. In home test series against England at Chennai in 2016, Karun smashed an unbeaten 303, to help the Indian team in securing the victory.

In February 2013 against Australia at Chennai, then India captain MS Dhoni led the team by scoring an impressive 224 to start off the 4-match series with a win for the Indian team.

7. Ravindra Jadeja- 175*

The bowling all rounder was at his finest during his innings of 175* against Sri Lanka in March 2022. He stitched crucial partnerships with the middle order as well as tailenders of the team.

8. MS Dhoni – 148

During his young days in the international cricket, MS Dhoni would bat even at no.8 position. He scored 148 off 153 balls in January 2006 against Pakistan at Faislabad.

9. Jayant Yadav- 104

The off spinner from Haryana made his mark in international cricket by scoring 104 against England in December 2016.

10. Ramakant Desai- 85

In 1960/61 series against Pakistan, Ramakant batted at 10th position and contributed 85 runs for the team.

11. Zaheer Khan- 75

The best knock at 11th position for India was by talented left arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan. He garnered 75 off 115 balls against Bangladesh in December 2004, which was one of the reasons for the team winning the test match by a big margin.
