The bowler with most wickets in international cricket by fast bowlers is none other than English pace spearhead James Anderson. The pacer is ageing like a fine wine and is still going strong even in his 40s. So far he has played 387 matches and has taken 951 wickets at an average of  27.18 to go with 34 five-wicket hauls.

Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath, who carried the Australian pace attack for a long time, sits second on the list of Most wickets in international cricket by fast bowlers. The lanky fast bowler played 376 matches for the national side in which he has taken 949 wickets at an average of 21.76 and also has taken 36 five-wicket hauls.

Pakistani pacer Wasim Akram has also found himself in the charts for Most wickets in international cricket by fast bowlers. The left-arm pacer total of 916 wickets across the formats in 460 matches. He took those wickets at an average of 23.57 and also has 31 five-wicket hauls to his name.

Former South African pacer Shaun Pollock is also among the fast bowlers who have taken most wickets across all three formats. The Proteas pacer in total of 423 matches took 829 wickets at an decent average of 23.73 along with 21 five-wicket hauls.

The last on the list of Most wickets in international cricket by fast bowlers is James Anderson’s partner in crime Stuart Broad. The right-arm pacer has been lynchpin of England’s bowling lineup in Tests. He so far has played 335 matches in which he has 802 wickets at an average of 28.04. Apart from this he also has 20 five-wicket hauls to his name.
