Pat Cummins IND vs AUS: The biggest breaking news development from the Australian camp is that their regular captain Pat Cummins was not available for selection in the third Test match between India and Australia being played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Things have gone terribly wrong for the Australian side so far in this India tour as they have ended up losing as many as two Test matches already in a space of six days. IND vs AUS: Why is Pat Cummins Not Playing Today’s India vs Australia 3rd Test? Who is Australia Captain?

Just after Australia ended up losing the second Test match against India in a really dramatic manner, skipper Pat Cummins was forced to leave for his home in Sydney as his mother was ill and in palliative care. The Aussie fast bowler was supposed to return in time for the third Test match in Indore as there was a nine-day gap between the two games. But the Cricket Australia (CA) have clearly confirmed that Cummins will miss the third Test match and in his absence, Steve Smith will captain the national team. While talking about his performance in this four-match Test series so far, Pat Cummins has managed to pick up as many as 3 wickets in two Tests.

Australia have already lost the duo of Josh Hazlewood and David Warner for the remainder of this Border Gavaskar Trophy in India.
