The MSL 2018 will see six team contesting against each other in a round-robin format which will be followed by two playoffs before the eventual final scheduled to take place on December 16.
The format is similar to Ram Slam T20 and the Global T20 Challenge with the first match scheduled to take place at New Lands in Cape Town between the home side Capetown Blitz led by Farhaan Behardein and Tshwane Spartans led by AB de Villiers.
