In an exciting encounter between India and England in the 1st test at Trent Bridge at Trent Bridge. The Indian bowlers were terrific to put home team in pressure early on with their accurate lengths and purchase off the surface. The England team were bundled out for 183, with the pick of the bowler being Bumrah with 4 wickets, and Shami, Shardul being a very good support as well.

Ollie Robinson, who is one of the pacers for the England team barged shoulders with KL Rahul after batsman took a single on the fine leg. The reason of the tussle, can be the persistent batting performance of KL Rahul to put India in advantage position.

Can India take the lead of 50+ Runs in 1st innings?

After the lunch break, KL Rahul was dismissed for a score of 84 by the ace England bowler James Anderson. At present, Ravindra Jadeja is batting at 32* and needs support of the players like Shardul Thakur to increase the lead of the visitors in the 1st innings. At the time of writing of this article, India are at 205/6, with a lead of 22 runs.
