A fan from the stands dodged the security officials and invaded the field. He was spotted wearing an India jersey Test jersey with ‘Jarvo’ written over his back. When the security officials tried to take the spectator out, he tried to convince them he was there to play and gestured that he’s there to provide them with a helping hand

Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj was in splits after the hilarious incident. The fan was then eventually taken off the field and the game resumed.

ENG vs IND live: Joe Root notches up his 23rd Test ton 

Joe Root has looked a class apart in the ongoing second Test match against India at Lord’s cricket ground. The right-handed batsman put up a batting exhibition and scored runs all over the park. The 30-year-old paced his knock to perfection and notched up his 22nd Test ton and etched his name on Lord’s honours board.

During his innings, the 30-year-old also crossed 9000 run-mark in Test cricket as Indian bowlers field to pierce the English skipper’s solid defence. Notably, he made a sublime 109 in the second innings of the first Test match and the same match, the talismanic batsman also scored 64 in the first innings.
