Indian Players who got theur maiden Test hundred with a six

The first ODI between India and Windies will be played on 21st October and although this is a low-key bilateral series, there is still a lot of excitement hovering in the air. India is looking at this five-match series as an opportunity to finalize their squad for the 2019 world cup and hence a few players will enter this series to book their berth for the world cup. At the same time, Rishabh Pant is making his ODI debut while some players are making a comeback in the team.

1. Rishabh Pant-

Make no mistake, tomorrow all eyes will be on this left-hand batsman. He has already announced his arrival in the international cricket by producing three back-to-back all-out aggressive knocks in Tests and now he has the chance to settle down in India’s team for the shorter formats.

A lot of former cricketers believe that white-ball cricket is best suited for Pant and he can play in the team as a specialist batsman. India is still searching for their number four batsman and the fact that Pant is a left-hander is an added bonus as currently, India have no left-handers in the middle order barring Ravindra Jadeja.

2. Umesh Yadav-

The pace bowler made the perfect comeback in India’s Test team by bagging a ten-wicket haul in the second Test against Windies. He proved that his pace is still intact and he can swing the ball both ways. But can he replicate the magic in white-ball cricket without leaking too many runs? This ODI series might reveal the answer.

3. Virat Kohli-

The superstar of Indian cricket, Virat Kohli believes in taking every game seriously no matter who the opponent is. This attitude was reflected when he fielded his best eleven in the second Test despite knowing that Windies won’t offer a big challenge.

The Indian captain is making his comeback in the ODI format and he will have only one goal-dominate the opposition. He slammed a hundred in the Test series and fans expect nothing less than this from him in the ODI series.
