Bedi praises Kohli, the batsman
The former India spinner questioned Kohli’s style of functioning but at the same time appreciated his batting. He said that in his humble opinion, there is hardly anyone more intense than Kohli, but he pointed out that there is a world of difference in his intensity and the team’s intensity.
He explained that Virat Kohli as a player and Virat Kohli as a captain, there is a world of difference between the two.
Indian team is made up of only one person: Bedi
Bedi remarked that the Indian team is good and we all know that. But he also noted that the same team went to England and South Africa and those teams were also “weak”.
He agreed that the bans have happened on two kids, Steve Smith and David Warner, but he believes that a team is not made of two individuals. In fact, according to Bedi, our team is made of one person, everything is about Kohli.
He further added that the amount of focus there is, we don’t realize how much pressure we are putting on that kid, Kohli, both as a batsman and a captain.
