SLK CPL 2021 : St Lucia Kings will take on Jamaica Tallawahs in their opening match of Caribbean Premier League 2021 in St Kitts on Friday, 27 August. St Lucia Kings who were St Lucia Zouks in the last season were runners up of last season and lost to Trinbago Knight Riders in the final. This time they’re coming with a new name as well as with a new captain in Faf du Plessis and they have also got some fine players like Samit Patel, Keemo Paul and Tim David in their squad and will look to replicate their performance of last season.
CPL 2020 Performance :
In Caribbean Premier League 2020 St Lucia Kings finished at third position in the league stage and went on to play in the final where they lost to Trinbago Knight Riders.
Most Runs in CPL 2020 :
In the last season St Lucia Kings didn’t have a strong batting line up. In this season captain Faf du Plessis, Tim David, Roston Chase, Andre Fletcher and Rahkeem Cornwall are their batsmen.
Most Wickets in CPL 2020 :
St Lucia Kings’ bowling in the least season was outstanding and it’s the main reason why they reached to the final. On slow pitches their pacers used the variations very well and spinners too supported them well. In this season the likes of Kestrick Williams, Obed McCoy, Keemo Paul, Samit Patel, Wahab Riaz and Usman Qadir are their bowlers.

CPL 2020 has been the best season for St Lucia Kings as they were runners up of this season. Before that they qualified for the play-offs only once in 2016 and in other seasons they couldn’t perform well.
