Bangladesh Premier League continues to attract star cricketers from across the globe. Now aggressive England opening batsman Jason Roy will feature in the BPL and he will play for Sylhet Sixers. The addition of the England batsman will relieve Sixers as David Warner is set to make an early exit.

Sixers boosted by Roy’s inclusion

Sylhet Sixers already have several star players in their squad. Sohail Tanvir, David Warner, Sandeep Lamichhane, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Fletcher, Fabian Allen, and Mohammad Irfan are well-known players in the format and have ample experience of playing franchise cricket.

The franchise also has several top quality Bangladesh players including Liton Das, Taskin Ahmed, Nasir Hossain, and Sabbir Rahman in their squad.

The addition of Roy will certainly boost the team as he is known for his aggressive batting at the top of the batting order. David Warner is set to return to Australia due to an elbow injury and hence Roy’s addition will enable the team to fill the void created by Warner’s absence.
