MS Dhoni is hailed as the ‘captain cool’ for his ability to regain composure even during tough situations. However, there are times when even Dhoni loses his composure and gives a mouthful to the fielders and bowlers. The latest to face the wrath of Dhoni is Kuldeep Yadav who had to listen to the Indian wicket-keeper’s stern words during the match against Afghanistan in Asia Cup.

Dhoni back as India captain

With a place in the finals already sealed, India rested key players including the stand-in captain Rohit Sharma for the match against Afghanistan. This meant MS Dhoni returned as the captain of Team India. The legendary Indian cricketer captained India after 696 days and it was a special moment for him as he was captaining the nation for the 200th time.

But things didn’t go well for the Indian captain as in the beginning India’s inexperienced pace bowlers leaked runs allowing Afghanistan to get a dazzling start and there were some hiccups in fielding as well.

But despite all these things going wrong, the Indian skipper remained calm. However when Kuldeep Yadav made an unjustifiable request, the captain cool lost his temper.

Watch Dhoni give a mouthful to Kuldeep

The incident happened in Kuldeep’s over when the spinner wanted some changes in the field. Dhoni, however, had some other ideas and he dissented with the bowler. But Kuldeep demanded changes in the field to watch Dhoni responded by saying, ” “Bowling karega ya bowler change karein?” (Would you return to bowling or should we change the bowler).

Hearing these stern words from the captain, Kuldeep immediately went back to his bowling mark and got ready to bowl the next over.

Kuldeep continues to shine

But it seems that Maahi’s strong reaction didn’t affect the bowler in a negative manner as Kuldeep ended the match with impressive figures, The chinaman bowler conceded just 38 runs in his ten overs and also claimed two crucial wickets in the middle overs.
