India have won 30 out of 36 T20I games under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. This is some record and domination and he needs to be given credit for it. They had a brilliant first game against Pakistan and are all set to finish as the group toppers in Asia Cup 2022.
Rohit Sharma was seen struggling against the quality bowling of Pakistan in the first game. He created a big negative impact in the game and if not for Hardik Pandya at the end, India would have lost the game. Hong Kong bowlers shouldn’t be a threat for the Indian captain and he should be able to score runs freely at the top of the order.
He is one of the prolific run getters for India in this shortest format of the game. He has changed his approach in the recent past where he is taking a lot of risks inside the powerplay which was not the case a year ago.
