Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings
Indian Premier League 2020, Match 7
Date & Time: 25 September, 2020 at 7:30PM IST
Dubai Cricket Stadium, UAE
Week 1 of the IPL 2020 is coming to an end, and to finish this blistering week we have an exciting duel between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings lined-up. DC who stole a win against KXIP will be hoping to improve their performance in both departments ahead of the clash against Super Kings. CSK on the other hand had a game to forget in Sharjah, where they had no clue whatsoever on what they were doing. They will be keen to bounce back, and to their advantage, Dubai with its long boundaries may not present a graveyard for CSK bowlers like in Sharjah. And hence rightfully so they are expected to edge over DC in this blockbuster clash. If you are in for IPL betting, place your money on CSK.

All eyes will be on the great man MS Dhoni, as we head toward the 7th match of IPL 2020. Even though he surprised everyone with the bizarre batting order of CSK, the sixes that he hit in the last over is more than enough to anticipate what is more to come from him in the coming matches. As a captain, he has a lot of problems to address in this CSK squad. Apart from the form of Sam Curran and the fight that Faf du Plessis showed, nothing else looked positive for them. The biggest worry comes at the top of the batting order. It’s high time for Watson and Vijay to step up. If Vijay fails again in this match, he is sure to sit in the dug-out for the rest of the IPL. Ambati Rayudu who almost filled the void of Suresh Raina is injured and will miss today’s game. This is a huge blow for CSK and they would need timely contribution from young Ruturaj Gaikwad and the captain himself to provide support to Faf du Plessis.
Fewer changes are expected in the bowling department. Even though Chawla was thrashed by Samson in Sharjah, he won’t be having a nightmare like that in Dubai. Longer boundaries and spin-friendly conditions are expected to suit him. Lungi Ngidi who is struggling for form may make way for Josh Hazlewood. And as for the other players, there needs to be clarity regarding the role of Kedar Jadhav. Neither he nor does the team management knows what he is exactly doing in this team.
Delhi has a lot to address moving into this match. Despite a dismal show with both bat and ball, they somehow managed to steal a win against KXIP. The first area for them to address is batting. The hit and miss approach that their top order did in the last match will cost them badly if they are to continue with that. The team would want both Shikhar and Prithvi and even Hetmyer to hang in there to assess the conditions and then go for the glory shots. As per reports Ravi Ashwin has recovered but is expected to sit out as a precautionary measure. Veteran Amit Mishra will replace Ashwin in the eleven. Mohit Sharma who was at the receiving end may also make way for Avesh Khan. Apart from these, no other big changes are expected from DC.

Expert free tip and IPL betting tips
Long boundaries, seamer-friendly conditions up-front, and great assistance to spinners, this is what Dubai has to offer. Dew could be a decisive factor on the toss, and it could encourage captains to field first. But keep in mind 5 of the 6 matches so far were won by teams batting first. An average score close to 150-160 would make up for a good contest on this pitch.
If Delhi Capitals bats first: 160-170
If Chennai Super Kings bats first: 140-150
Players who are expected to perform well as per Dream11 Prediction.
DC- Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan
To succeed in Dubai, you need patience. Batsmen need to hang in there and build their innings patiently. Two people capable of doing that for Delhi are Shreyas Iyer and Shikhar Dhawan.
CSK- Faf du Plessis
In the absence of Ambati Rayudu, he is the only batsmen capable of doing the anchor role in CSK. If you are in for IPL betting, place your bet on him, and if you are in for fantasy cricket, make him your captain or vice-captain. He won't disappoint.
Other prominent options: Rishab Pant, MS Dhoni
DC- Kagiso Rabada
This man needs no introduction. One of the best fast bowler going on in the world right now, he is expected to exploit the favourable conditions early on in the innings.
Dubai offers a bit of movement for swing bowlers in the early part of the innings. This is expected to suit Deepak Chahar.
Other prominent options: Sam Curran, Piyush Chawla, Amit Mishra (if he plays)
DC- Marcus Stoinis/ Rishab Pant
CSK- MS Dhoni/ Sam Curran
Player of the Match
His slow cutters with the ball and fireworks with the bat will hold the key for CSK's chances in this match. he is our prediction for the ‘Player of the Match' category.
