A thumping win in the first match has boosted the confidence of Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. And both teams will now be eager to continue their winning march.

At Freoz Shah Kotla expect a cracking contest as two big sides search for their second win. And these three players will play a key role in this match.

#3. Suresh Raina-

The left-hander had a quiet start to IPL 2019 but write him off at your own peril.

With 5004 IPL runs behind him and an average of 34.27, Raina still is a force to reckon with. It will be interesting to see how the pace bowling artillery of Delhi bowl against him.

Will they go short and target his weakness or do they have something else in the store?

#2. Shreyas Iyer-

The Delhi Capitals’ captain faced just ten balls in the first match but during his short stay he looked at ridiculous ease.

Iyer scored two fours and a six in his ten balls and this should be warning sign for Chennai. The right-hand batsman can be a big threat for the visiting team.

Iyer scored 411 runs in IPL 2018 at an average of 37.36 and in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy he amassed 484 runs to become the second highest run-scorer with two hundreds in 10 innings.

#1. Dwayne Bravo-

CSK’s most potent weapon in the death overs,Bravo now becomes even more crucial as the team’s fast bowling resources are getting depleted.

Bravo has 137 wickets in 123 IPL games and he has an impressive economy of 8.40. His numbers stand out when noted that he bowls mostly in the death overs.

The Chennai bowler will be key against Delhi as Delhi has some big finishers and the fate of the match could be decided by how Delhi batsmen fare against Chennai bowlers in death overs.

At the same time, Bravo had a strike rate of 154.94 in 2018 which makes him a more than handy batsman.

Also these two players will be the ones to watch out for as they can turn the game on its head in no time.

#2. Harbhajan Singh-

The off-spinner roared emphatically against Mumbai and is back where he belongs to- Powerplay overs.

He has 19 wickets in Powerplay overs in IPL, the second-most by any spinner and more importantly he  gives just 6.64 runs in Powerplay overs.

Hence against the free-flowing Prithvi Shaw and left-hander Shikhar Dhawan, Bhajji can be a key weapon.

#1. Rishabh Pant-

78 runs off 27 balls. Rishabh Pant showcased what he can do with a whirlwind innings against and Mumbai Indians. His fearless assault enabled Delhi to score 99 runs off the last six overs and this late acceleration won them the game.

And this is why could be the X factor in the match against CSK as well. His thunderous batting can change the match in no time so CSK must be wary of him. His career strike rate in IPL is 167 but against Mumbai he scored at a strike rate of 288. And the same can be expected from him in the remaining games.

Interestingly Pant scored 50% of his runs (39) in the square leg region and total 81% of hi s runs came in the leg-side. Can CSK devise a plan to counter this?
