The Sunday doubleheader brings on two exciting contest. Second-placed Chennai Super Kings will be taking on first-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad at their new home ground Pune to register their place in the playoffs while Mumbai Indians will be hosing Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in a must-win game for both the teams.
So, here are the key players for tomorrow’s clash-
For CSK, Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni will be the top contributors with the bat. While Rayudu is amongst the top scorers in the tournament, the rest three have scored 30+ runs so far.
Harbhajan Singh, D Bravo, and R Jadeja will be the key bowlers. D Willey was quite expensive in the last game.
For SRH, the key batters will be Shikhar Dhawan, Alex Hales, and skipper Kane Williamson. The bulk scoring relies upon these three batsmen only. Yusuf Pathan and Shakib Al Hasan can also hit biggies in the lower order.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Rashid Khan, will be the key bowlers for SRH. Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan can also make a difference with their all-around performances.
For MI, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Rohit Sharma and Pandya brothers will have the responsibility to put runs on the scoreboard. In the last game against KKR, I Kishan blasted 21-balls 62.
In bowling, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and M Markande will be the front-runners. Hardik Pandya is second in the list of leading wicket-takers in the tournament.
For RR, the whole batting relies upon Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson. Buttler played a match-winning knock of 95* of 60 deliveries against CSK.
In bowling, Jofra Archer, K Gowtham and I Sodhi will be crucial.
