Saturday’s doubleheader brings on two exciting clash – KXIP vs KKR and DD vs RCB. Kings XI Punjab will host Kolkata Knight Riders tomorrow at 04:00 PM in Indore and Delhi Daredevils will host Royal Challengers Bangalore for the evening show at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi.
While KXIP and KKR will play to secure their places at the top four positions, DD and RCB will play for their pride tomorrow.
So, let’s have a look at the key players.
For DEL, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant are in a great form. The top order is responsible for bulk scoring. R Pant who blasted a century against Sunrisers Hyderabad holds the orange cap for being the top run scorer and will be crucial.
In bowling, Trent Boult and Amit Mishra will be crucial. Boult has taken 13 wickets so far.
For BLR, the key batters will be Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. They will be responsible for putting runs on board. V Kohli is the leading run scorer for RCB and is also amongst the most run getters of the tournament. In the lower middle order, Mandeep Singh and Colin de Grandhomme can also play handy innings.
In bowling, Umesh Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will be crucial. They are the most wicket-taker bowlers.
For PNJ, the key batters are Chris Gayle and KL Rahul. In last two innings, KL Rahul has scored 84* of 54 balls and 95* of 70 balls. His innings will be crucial for PNJ.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Andrew Tye, Mohit Sharma and M Stoinis will be the key bowlers for KXIP. Andrew Tye is the most wicket taking bowler in the tournament and shares the purple cap with Hardik Pandya.
For KOL, C Lynn, R Uthappa, Nitish Rana and skipper Dinesh Karthik will have to contribute with the bat. Apart from DK, no one else is consistent in KKR.
In bowling, Piyush Chawla, Sunil Narine are the key bowlers for KKR. Sunil Narine and Andre Russell can also create a difference with their all round performance.
