SRH vs RCB Dream11 Key Players

Match day 3 of the Dream11 IPL will be contested between the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)  and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Dubai International Stadium. The two teams were the finalists in the 2016 edition and will be keen on going the distance this time around as well.  SRH and RCB do have plenty of star studded players in their respective squads and we could be up for a cracker of a contest.

Big Picks

Virat Kohli: One of the hottest properties in the IPL who has stuck by RCB since the inception of the tournament. The skipper has scored 5412 runs from 177 IPL appearances. Kohli scored 973 runs in the 2016 edition, which to this date remains the most number of runs scored by a batsmen in one season. However, Virat Kohli’s quest for the IPL title goes on and will be banking on his own, as well as his team’s ability to lift the cup.

David Warner

The man whose team beat Virat Kohli and his men in the finals of the IPL 2016. David Warner has been one of the most integral figures in the IPL. His cricketing career went upwards ever since he set foot in the tournament and once again proved to be the standout batsmen in the previous edition. The SRH skipper scored 692 runs from just 12 games last season and was even awarded the Orange Cap for most runs scored.

AB de Villiers

The IPL would be incomplete without the presence of Mr 360 himself. AB de Villiers has been the epitome of batting excellence and execution. His wide array of shots has often left us bewildered and may it continue to be the case this time around as well. The former South African captain has scored 4395 runs from 154 appearances in the IPL at a strike rate of 151.23, which also includes 33 fifties and three-hundreds.

Jonny Bairstow

It was the breakthrough season for the specialist wicket keeper batsman, as Bairstow smashed 445 runs from 10 games which also included a century against RCB. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner are considered as one of, if not the most dynamic opening duo in the tournament.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Chahal has been Virat Kohli’s ‘go-to-guy’ when it comes to picking wickets at crucial intervals of the games. The wrist spinner picked up 18 wickets from 14 games last season and is known to challenge the batsman with his courageous loopy deliveries, which has more often than not earned him wickets.

 Rashid Khan

The Afghan international turned into an overnight start ever since laying foot in the IPL. This will be fourth season under SRH colours for the wrist spinner as he looks to excel with his wicket taking ability. Rashid Khan picked up 17 wickets from 15 games last season, and is also pretty handy with the bat on certain occasions.

Smart Picks

Moeen Ali: The RCB all-rounder did display glimpses of quality last season with his big hitting as well as the knack of picking up wickets.  Ali scored 220 runs and scalped six wickets from 11 games last season.

Khaleel Ahmed: The left-arm pacer was in sublime form for Sunrisers and can once again play a pivotal role with the new ball. Khaleel picked up 19 wickets from just nine games last season.

Vijay Shankar: A utility player for SRH who can come in handy with both bat and ball. Shankar scored 244 runs from 15 appearances last season and could be starting here.
