Jason Roy and Dawid Malan took score to over 70 runs but both couldn’t score quick runs and Indian bowlers didn’t allow England middle order to score quick runs and eventually they finished on 164/6. In reply India lost KL Rahul for a six balls duck but debutant Ishan Kishan and captain Virat Kohli counter attacked and their 94 runs partnership made the chase easy. Ishan Kishan got out after scoring 56 runs off 32 balls. Captain Kohli was rock solid at his end and his unbeaten 73 runs knock took India home in the 18th over.
