The India-England T20I series has been one of the interesting series this year. Starting from the test series, which saw the Indian spinners completely dominating the  England team. The visitors were not at their best, primarily due to the inexperienced batting line-up. The performance of Root and Stokes in the last 2 matches was not satisfactory, which resulted in the loss of the England team. The T20I series has started on 12 March and the series is tied 1-1. The Indian team made a solid comeback in the 2nd T20I that will hold the confidence of the people in the team.

IND vs ENG: Ishan Kishan smashes huge sixes on international debut

Ishan Kishan smacked 56 runs off just 32 balls in his debut T20I game. He is the first Indian player to score a half-century in his T20I debut. He hit 5 fours and 4 sixes, which constitutes more than 75% of his total score.

Kishan played an extremely special knock when KL Rahul got out for a duck in the first over. Kishan pulled, slogged, and hit it everywhere and he also reached his 50 in a style, by hitting a six. The most delighted after his half-century was the captain, Virat Kohli, on the other end who got very happy when he reached his 50 and got a warm hug from him.

ENG vs IND: What lies ahead in the T20I series

The T20I series is poised to be entertaining in the upcoming matches. Both the teams have a strong batting line-up with good experience in the T20 format. The bowlers also have been impressive in the T20 tournaments.

For the England team, important players will be Jofra Archer and Jason Roy. While Indian team will depend on the contribution from Kohli and Chahal. The X-factors can be Sam Curran and Ishan Kishan .
