IND vs ENG Stats : India defeated England by an innings and 25 runs on the third day of fourth and final Test match in Ahmedabad and clinch the series by 3-1 and with this win team India have qualified for World Test Championship final and have also become number one ranked Test side in the world. Earlier India resumed their batting on 294/7. The duo of Washington Sundar and Axar Patel continued their partnership and took score to over 350 runs. Axar Patel got out in 40s and after that Ben Stokes dismissed Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Siraj in four balls and thus team bowled out for 365 runs with a lead of 160 runs. Washington Sundar was left stranded on 96*. In reply England batsmen’s struggled continued and they had no clue against R Ashwin and Axar Patel. For England Daniel Lawrence showed some fight with a good fifty but that wasn’t enough and whole team bowled out for 135 runs. For India both R Ashwin and Axar Patel took 5 wickets each.
