4. AB de Villiers

Known for his explosive batting and innovative shots, AB de Villiers can literally smash bowlers to any part of the ground. Hence the nickname “Mr. 360.” He played for Delhi Daredevils in the first three seasons (2008-2010). He joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011 and performed consistently for them and entertained the crowd with his innovative shots like no other, which led him to being the most loved overseas cricketer in India.

His most memorable performance came in 2016 when he scored 687 runs in 16 matches and played a useful hand in helping his team reach the finals of the tournament.

In 154 matches so far, he has scored 4395 runs with an average of 39.95 and strike rate of 151.23. He has scored 3 centuries and 33 fifties, his highest score is 133 runs.

5. Dwayne Bravo

Bravo is one of the best all rounders to have played in the league. Known for his death bowling and an impeccable slower ball, Bravo is the fifth-highest wicket-taker in tournament history, and the second among fast bowlers. The all-rounder has taken 147 wickets at 24.60 and has won two Purple Caps, in 2013 and 2015. He is also an electric fielder and a big striker as a lower-order batsman.

Bravo played for the Mumbai Indian in the first three seasons but was picked up by the Chennai Super Kings during 2011 IPL Auctions.

With his dance moves and pleasant on-field behaviour, he has become one of the biggest fan favourites in the competition.
