Smriti Mandhana
Coming from a middle-class family of Mumbai, Smriti Mandhana has taken giant leaps in women’s game. She is being considered as one the all-time greats of the game at a very young age. She recently won best women’s cricketer for the year 2019 at BCCI awards. She has experience of playing in Australia with her Big Bash League stints for two years. Least to say, Indian fans will be having high hopes on her if India are to have any chance of winning the trophy for the very first time.

Sophie Devine
New Zealand women’s circuit has always been considered as one of the strongest in the world. And that is due to its ability to produce players like Sophie Devine. This Queenstown girl has also represented New Zealand in Hockey before she took cricket as her career option. She holds the record of fastest T20 half-century in women’s game. She has also played for Adelaide Strikers for a couple of years and her experience will come in handy for White Ferns.

Deandra Dottin
Deandra Dottin became superstar from nowhere when she took South African bowling to cleaners in world T20 in 2010 and became first lady to hit T20 ton. She has represented Perth Scorchers in women’s BBL. She also became first player to take 5 wicket haul in a T20 game. So, West Indies team will be looking at her contributions from both the departments of the game. Her power hitting and right arm fast bowling will be key if West Indies are to repeat their 2016 heroics.
