3. Qazi Manjural Islam

Qazi Manjural Islam, also known as Rana, was a cricket player for Bangladesh who played in 25 One Day Internationals and six Test matches. Born in Khulna, he was a slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. In domestic cricket, he played for Khulna Division, and against England in November 2003, he made his ODI debut. Three months later, Rana faced Zimbabwe in his maiden Test match. On March 16, 2007, at the age of 22, he passed away from severe brain damage sustained in an automobile accident.

4. Ankit Keshri

Ankit Keshri was a right-handed Indian batsman who played for Bengal. Keshri participated in domestic matches for Bengal but never represented India internationally. While fielding at sweeper cover, Ankit hurried to take the high catch. However, Sourav (a left-arm pacer), who was also fielding, also hurried to take a catch and they both collided. This led to him falling to the ground and bleeding from the mouth. He was taken to the hospital but passed away while receiving care.

Malcolm Marshall hailed from Barbados. In the modern era of Test cricket, Marshall, a fast bowler, is often considered one of the best and most proficient fast bowlers. With 376 wickets, he concluded his career as the West Indies’ all-time leading wicket-taker in Test cricket, a record he held until Courtney Walsh surpassed it in November 1998. In 2009, Marshall was chosen for induction into the International Cricket Council’s Hall of Fame. In honour of the 150th anniversary of the Cricketers’ Almanack, Wisden selected him for an all-time Test World XI. However, the entire cricketing world was left aghast when he died at the age of 41, succumbing to colon cancer.
