When we hear of an Indian cricketer insulting his own teammate, Ashish Nehra springs to mind. This incident occurred in the 4^th ODI between India and Pakistan in 2005. Shahid Afridi, who was batting on 10, edged a delivery outside the off-stump. The ball went past Dhoni, who was keeping behind the stumps.

The left-arm seamer was annoyed by Dhoni’s effort and let out a few expletives. Nehra later apologised, stating that he was not proud of his actions. Dhoni doing on to become one of India’s most famous and successful cricketers makes this episode even more memorable.
