3. Harbhajan Singh in 2009 Asia Cup

Harbhajan has always been known for his aggression and for showing fight till the very end. Anger has always fired him up to perform better for his country. In the 2009 Asia Cup, an on-field spat with Shoaib Akhtar really spurred him on to win the Asia cup for his country in what looked like an improbable chase when he played a cameo knock to get his team over the line.

Shoaib too did not shy away from words on field however both of them have since been involved in commentary stints where both of these players have had a good time together. On the pitch though, there was a rivalry between the two players and it isn’t new for the two countries to be tough on the pitch to each other.

Harbhajan has had altercations earlier too with the likes of Matthew Hayden and Andrew Symonds on the Australia tour. In the IPL too he has had his fight with Ambati Rayudu.
