Indo-Pak bowl out in the 2007 T20 World Cup

Whenever it’s a tie in games like Football and Hockey, the result of the game is generated by a penalty shoot-out (of course after the Extra-time). Bowl out was the cricket version of penalty shoot-out which was considered in the inaugural T20 World Cup.

In a high-voltage Indo-Pak clash, the result was declared after a bowl out where India hit the stumps thrice on their first three chance, whereas, Pakistan weren’t able to hit the stumps even once.

Probably the most glorious moment in the history of the T20 World Cup. Yuvraj Singh in the 5th gear dispatching a rookie Stuart Broad all around the park in the 19th over is probably the best sight for an ardent Indian cricket fan.

Just before this memorable moment, words were exchanged between Yuvraj Singh and Andrew Flintoff and the rest was history. That amazing knock from the Southpaw helped India defeat England in the league stage match of 2007 World T20 by 8 runs.

Remember the name- Carlos Brathwaite

The epic final of the ICC World T20 2016 had an epic end. In a tough chase which was led by Marlon Samuels, Carlos Brathwaite emerged as the biggest match-winner who took the game away from England’s grasp with ease.

Chasing 156 runs to clinch their second World T20 triumph, the men from the Caribbean find themselves in hot waters when they were needing 19 off the penultimate over.

Ben Stokes had the ball and on-strike was the big-hitting Carlos Brathwaite who was a rookie at that point of time in his career. The right-hander smashed the first 4 balls for six to finish things with relative ease. Darren Sammy led West Indies claimed their hands on their second T20 World Title courtesy Brathwaite’s last-over blitz.
