Aakash Chopra names best Indian fielder of all time

The Indian cricket team has evolved over the years and one of the main cultural changes is the fitness standards among them. The present Indian captain has been leading from the front as far as fitness standards are concerned. As a result of fit athletes, India have emerged as one of the best fielding units in the world cricket at the moment.

The Wisden's second most valuable player in the world after the Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muraltharan, Ravindra Jadeja. The all rounder is well and truly an all rounder by all means. He has inculcated fear into the opposition batsmen when he is on the field. Such is the impact of Jadeja on the field.

Aakash Chopra heaps praise on Ravindra Jadeje

The former Indian opener and the popular broadcaster Aakash Chopra in his latest youtube video said that Ravindra Jadeja has the best arm in the world. He also said that Jadeja isn’t a great slip fielder but considered that as not an hindrance.
Here’s what Aakash Chopra said about Ravindra Jadeja.

He (Ravindra Jadeja) is absolutely outstanding, he has a rocket arm, he has the best arm in world cricket right now. Just look at his ground coverage, he is not the best while fielding at slips, but how does it matter.

The Indian captain Virat Kohli is second to none when comes to the aggressive intent that he brings to the table. His energy is infectious and he urges the other members in the team to give their 100% on the field.

“As you see him (Virat Kohli) growing as a player, you see him growing as a fielder, he wants to be there fielding and this is what makes him super special,” Aakash Chopra Said

Aakash Chopra remembers this epic catch!

It’s a well know story that the catch, Kapil Dev pounced to remove Sir Viv Richards proved to be the decisive factor in the 1983 world cup final. Aakash Chopra remembered that catch by Kapil Dev in his youtube video.

Everyone saw him (Kapil Dev) taking the catch of Vivian Richards in the finals of the 1983 world cup, he had great hands and was very agile
