There are very few cricketers in world cricket who would have done well across eras. The former South African captain AB de Villiers is one among them. He is an outright legend in his own way and has mesmerized and in fact mesmerizing world cricket for more than 14 years now.

The superman from South Africa announced his sudden retirement just months before the cricket world cup 2019 but he never stopped playing franchise cricket all around the world. There has been an anticipation in the last 7 months or so among the cricket fraternity that Mr.360 will be coming out of retirement to play for South Africa in the shortest format of the game and that might just be true.

AB de Villiers is always in the reckoning- Mark Boucher

The return of AB de Villiers was hinted by the Protea head coach Mark Boucher when asked to him about the return of the greatest player of all time in AB de Villiers in the latest press conference

“AB was in discussions before COVID, he is always in discussions when he is playing good cricket, to be honest with you. Going forward I haven’t had a discussion with him at all, he has been playing in the IPL. He had a very good IPL too,” Boucher told as quoted by News18.

It will be one massive comeback ever in the history of cricket if AB de Villiers dons the South African jersey for one more time in his career.
