Shubman Gill Girlfriend: Shubman Gill is definitely one of the most talented youngsters in the Team India set up. The Punjab-born right-handed batsman came into the limelight after his stunning 91-run knock during India’s memorable Test win at The Gabba against Australia in 2021. However, when a cricketer finds so much success at such a young age, fans are also very much eager to get some insights about the player’s personal life and the same is the case with Shubman Gill who has become a popular face of the sporting industry.
Shubman Gill is currently quarantining with the rest of the Indian Test squad before they take a flight to the UK for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand scheduled to start from June 18. In his free-time during the mandatory quarantine period, Shubman thought to answer some quick questions about himself asking his fans to comment on his Instagram story. Incidentally, one of his followers asked the Indian opener whether he is single and to everyone’s surprise, Shubman answered that he is very much single and has no plans of getting married in the near future.
In the recent few times, there have been several rumours of Shubman Gill allegedly dating former Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar. The couple have been quite active on the social media and there have been instances when Sara has appreciated Gill for his stunning performances on the cricket field. However, with this ‘single’ remark coming from the Indian cricketer himself, it seems like Shubman is very much single right now.
Despite his poor form in the last three Tests against England at home and in the IPL, Shubman Gill currently seems to be the frontrunner to open the batting alongside Rohit Sharma in the WTC final against New Zealand. During a recent interview, the right-hander also stressed on the importance of playing session by session especially in overseas conditions to be successful as an opener.
“It is very important to play session by session. In England whenever there is cloud around, the ball swings more and when the sun is out, it gets easier to bat. It is important to assess those conditions as an opener,” Shubman Gill was quoted as saying by India TV.
