Asia Cup 2022: BCCI reveals India Playing 11 for IND vs PAK match? Here’s the update

Ahead of the big India vs Pakistan clash, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted some pictures of Indian players practicing in the nets. However, the post on Twitter contained pictures of Indian cricketers in a sequence which hinted towards a possible playing XI for their opening game against Pakistan on Sunday. In the social media post, first came the picture of the two openers, KL Rahul and skipper Rohit Sharma followed by Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik. The frontline bowling combination includes Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan.

This means that if the team management is looking at this playing combination, then the senior spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin will have to warm the bench. However, there will be a big risk to go in with just five bowlers including Hardik Pandya into the massive IND vs PAK game.
