AUS vs ENG: In a massive development, hosts Australia have announced their playing 11 for the upcoming fourth Ashes Test match against England starting from 5 January, 2022 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The Pat Cummins-led team have taken an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match Test series after a phenomenal performance to retain the Ashes ‘Urn’ in Melbourne. Australia absolutely blew away England in the Boxing Day Test match having registered a staggering win by an innings and 14 runs.
Hosts Australia have made a single change to their winning combination from the Melbourne Test match as left-handed batter Usman Khawaja has come in for Travis Head who recently tested positive for COVID-19. Aussie skipper Pat Cummins also confirmed that right-arm pacer Scott Boland has retain his spot in the Australia playing 11 after his memorable heroics on Test debut. Boland picked up stunning figures of 6 for 7 in the second innings of the third Test match that saw England getting bundled out for a below-par total of 68 runs.
