BAN vs SL Stats Preview

Bangladesh’s bowling performance and batting performance from Mushfiqur Rahim has been good so far as in the first two matches their bowling unit of Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin and Shakib al Hasan put up a good show and they need to continue their good form. In batting Mushfiqur Rahim has been key as the wicket keeper has played 84 and 125 runs knock and he is getting good support from Mahmudullah and in top order Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das and Shakib al Hasan need to fire.

On the other side, Sri Lanka’s batting has been abysmal as their all batsmen except Wanindu Hasaranga struggled to reach even in double figures and the likes of Kusal Perera, Dhanushka Gunathikala and Kusal Mendis need to step up with big runs and inform Wanindu Hasaranga should be promoted to number 6 or 7. In the bowling their spinners have been decent but in pace department only Dushamantha Chameera has bowled well while Isuru Udana has been disappointing and the whole unit needs to play some top quality cricket to return to winning ways.
