बीसीसीआई ने भेजी मदद
बीसीसीआई ने भारत ए टीम के पांच गेंदबाजों को दुबई में वरिष्ठ खिलाड़ियों को अभ्यास कराने के लिए भेजा. इन पांच गेंदबाजों में तीन तेज गेंदबाज : कर्नाटक के प्रसिध्द कृष्ण, पंजाब के सिद्धार्थ कौल और मध्य प्रदेश के आवेश खान हैं. इन पांच गेंदबाजों में लेग स्पिनर मयंक मार्कंडे, और लेग आर्म स्पिनर शाहबाज नदीम भी शामिल हैं.

“एशिया कप की ट्रॉफी के साथ प्रतिभागी टीमों के कप्तान! देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि कौन 28 सितंबर को यह खिताब अपने नाम करता है?”
ये तीन गेंदबाज आने वाले तीन दिनों तक वरिष्ठ बल्लेबाजों को नेट्स में गेंदबाजी करेंगे और अभ्यास सत्र के दौरान उनकी मदद करेंगे. अवेश खान को छोड़कर अन्य सभी भारत ए और बी टीम का हिस्सा रह चुके हैं. गौरतलब है कि इन खिलाड़ियों ने अभी कुछ दिन पहले चतुश्कोणीय श्रृंखला भारत ए की ओर से खेली थी. सिद्धार्थ कौल इंग्लैंड दौरे पर गई वरिष्ठ टीम के भी सदस्य थे.
उन्हे क्युं भेजा गया?
वरिष्ठ टीम के लिए नेट्स अभ्यास कराने के लिए कोई भी अच्छा गेंदबाज उपलब्ध नहीं था. गौरतलब है कि लगातार होने वाले खेलों के दौरान आप गेंदबाजों से यह अपेक्षा नहीं रख सकते कि वे लगातार मुकाबलों में भी गेंदबाजी करें और फिर नेट्स में भी. नेट्स अभ्यास के लिए आप आईसीसी अकैडमि के गेंदबाजों पर भी निर्भर नहीं रह सकते, क्योकि वे अन्तराष्ट्रीय स्तर का अभ्यास नहीं करा सकते. इन्ही तथ्यों को ध्यान में रखते हुए गेंदबाजों को दुबई भेजा गया.
गेंदबाजों को भेजने के पीछे के कारणों में से एक उनका अनुभव बढ़ाना भी है. इस तरह की आवाजाही से प्रतिभा खुलकर सामने आ सकती है और कोच और वरिष्ठ खिलाडी, युवा खिलाड़ी की क्षमता आँक सकते हैं.

गेंदबाजों को भेजने की प्रक्रिया दक्षिण अफ्रीका के दौरे से ही चलन में हैं. जब आवेश, बासिल थमपी को दक्षिण अफ्रीका में भारत को नेट अभ्यास कराने के लिए भेजा गया था.
मौजूदा स्थिति में टीम
कार्यकारी कप्तान के साथ मौजूदा समय में केवल 10 सदस्य ही हैं अन्य सदस्य जो कि इंग्लैंड दौरे का हिस्सा थे वे रविवार को टीम से जुड़ेंगे. पहला नेट अभ्यास शुक्रवार को हुआ था.

भारत होंग कोंग के खिलाफ अपना पहला मुकाबला खेलेगा और, अगले दिन ही चिर प्रतिद्वंद्वी टीम पाकिस्तान के साथ भारत का मुकाबला है.

The BCCI has sent five India A bowlers to Dubai to help the senior team practice during the net sessions. The five bowlers include three pacers: Prasidh Krishna from Karnataka, Siddarth Kaul from Punjab and Avesh Khan from Madhya Pradesh. Also among the five is leg-spinner Mayank Markande and left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem.
These five will be bowling and training during the net sessions for the next three days along with the senior players of team India. Except for Avesh, the rest of the five were part of India A and B squads who recently completed the Quadrangular series. Siddarth Kaul was part of the senior team that played the limited-overs leg of the UK tour.
There arises a problem for the senior team during practice sessions when there aren’t any quality net bowlers. With back to back games, one cannot expect Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Jasprit Bumrah to bowl flat outs at the nets. They can’t even rely on academy bowlers as they too at times can’t provide quality practice. This is what a BCCI official said.
The reason for sending these bowlers is, the senior team batsmen get quality practice and second, the young blowers get to learn a lot. Not to mention that the senior players, as well as the coaches, can eye out good talent.
This was started before the tour of South Africa when the likes of Avesh, Basil Thampi, and Sri Lanka native, left-arm throwdown expert, Nuwan Seneviratne were sent to South Africa for net sessions.

Captain and stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma has around 10 members of the Indian team at the moment. They have had their first net session on Friday. The remaining members of team India are to arrive on Sunday after their break post the Test series in England.
India will be facing off against Hong Kong on September 18th. After that, they will face their arch-rivals Pakistan on September 19th.
