Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar feels that the upcoming Test series against Australia is India’s best chance to win a series in Australia as he feels that the current Aussie team is not as formidable as the past ones. At the same time he accepts that although possible, a series win won’t be easy for India.

This Aussie team is inexperienced: SachinĀ

While speaking with an online cricket portal, Sachin was asked about India’s tour of Australia. To this, the little master replied by saying that this is possibly our best chance to go out there and beat them. According to him, if we seeĀ the Australia teams in the past and compare them to this one, then yes India has a very good chance.

He explained that the current Aussie team is not at the highest level at this stage. He thinks that they have had better sides in the past and have had better players with more experience. He feels that this is considerably an inexperienced side.

Challenging Australia not easy: Tendulkar

At the same time, the right-hand batsman noted that Aussies are kind of getting back together and forming a solid unit. And he also reminded everyone that Australians are known for being competitive and he won’t be surprised if they put up a competitive fight.

He makes it clear that to go out there and challenge them is also not going to be easy, but he feels that we have the ammunition to go out there and challenge them.

Sachin’s advice for Indian batsmenĀ

The legendary batsman feels that India have good fast bowlers, quality spinners. He also feels we have good batters and he notes that you win Test matches when you score a lot of runs on the board.

He also gave some advice to Indian batsmen by saying that we need to bat the first 25 overs differently, respect the hardness of the ball. And later on, he feels most of our guys are big shot players and they like attacking approach and Australian surfaces are perfect for that.
