The Indian pacer published a tweet in which he says, ‘Yet another false claim by the media is doing the rounds about me going to become a father. Please do not spread anything like this without confirmation just to make news. I would like to request all to not spread anything personal without authenticity! @MumbaiMirror’.

This tweet came as a shock for his fans and cricket fraternity as Bhuvneshwar is generally known for his calm behaviour and is regarded as a soft-spoken person.

What is the rumour the Indian pacer talking about?

The frontline India bowler recently married to  Nupur Nagar on November 23, 2017. And since then the media has published several stories about the couple.

Bhuvi’s glorious cricket career

Bhuvneshwar Kumar didn’t feature in India’s Test series against England as he was injured. The pace bowler has now recovered from the injury but the team management rested him for the two Tests against Windies with the tour of Australia in mind.

Bhuvi has claimed 63 wickets in 22 Tests with an average of 26.07. He has also featured in 92 ODIs and has claimed 96 wickets. He is one of India’s frontline bowlers in the white ball cricket courtesy of his ability to swing the new ball and bowl effectively in death overs.
