Border Gavaskar Trophy Winners List: The Border–Gavaskar Trophy is a Test cricket series played between India and Australia. The trophy was established in 1996–97 when Australia toured India for a two–match Test series. It is named after two of the greatest cricketers to have played the game – Allan Border of Australia and Sunil Gavaskar of India. The series is played in a best–of–four format, with two home and two away Tests. The series usually takes place every two years, and the most recent series was held in 2020–21.
