Cricket is a funny game and full of unpredicted stuff. One of the prime examples was witnessed in a Ranji Trophy game which was played between Uttar Pradesh and Saurashtra.

Cheteshwar Pujara who is known for his superlative efforts with the bat, produced a moment to cherish for himself and the team when he dismissed UP’s no 10 Mohit Jangra on the second ball he bowled.

Cheteshwar Pujara surprised himself

India’s premier Test batsman surprised himself and a lot of fans with the act he possessed with the ball. He took to his official Instagram handle and posted a video of the same with a caption, “The day when I changed my Batsman status to an All-rounder”

He claimed this wicket playing for Saurashtra and this was his 6th wicket in 197 First-Class games.

He got his leg pulled after posting the video

Soon after an ecstatic Pujara posted the video, his post was filled with comments. Quite noticeably, his national teammates Shikhar Dhawan and Ravichandran Ashwin were quick to respond with some quirky comments.

Here’s what Ashwin commented, “It’s time to bowl more…”

But, it was Shikhar Dhawan’s comment on the post which left everyone rolling on the floor laughing. He wrote, “Bhai kabhie itne tez sprint running karte waqt bhi maar liya kar. Well bowled waise,” with quite a few smileys.
