Prithvi Shaw CSK vs DC IPL 2022: In a massive breaking news update, Delhi Capitals (DC) star opening batsman Prithvi Shaw is not play the today Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. Delhi Capitals cannot afford anymore dip in form during the remainder of the competition if they want to qualify for the IPL 2022 playoffs. DC currently has a total of 5 wins from their 10 matches in the ongoing T20 season.
After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant came up with the big update that Prithvi Shaw was not available for selection in the second consecutive game. Earlier in the day, the premier opening batsman posted an Instagram Story where he revealed that he has been admitted into the hospital and continues his recovery from high fever. Shaw also missed the previous IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad due to same issue.
” I think wicket is on the decent side. We want to chase. The season has been up and down. We are focussing on the positives. It is going to be a good match. I have learnt a lot from him (MS). Let’s see how I execute them. Two changes for us. KS Bharat and Axar come in for Mandeep and Lalit Yadav,” said Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant during the toss.
