ENG vs NZ: James Anderson Out of England Playing 11 for 3rd Test? Here’s the update

ENG vs NZ: The ongoing Test series between England and New Zealand have already been sealed by the hosts with one match to go. ENG vs NZ: James Anderson doubtful for the final Test against New Zealand

The third Test between England and New Zealand is slated to take place at Leeds from June 23. With just a few days remaining for the start for the game, it is learned that English pacer spearhead James Anderson will miss the last Test.

As per the reports in Daily Mail, it was reported that the pacer suffered a leg niggle during the second Test and that was the only reason he bowled only a few overs. With him having discomfort in his leg, it is learned that the pacer will be rested for the last match to keep him fresh for the long summer season ahead.

The absence of Anderson could be a big miss for England but at the same time, it will be an opportunity for some other pacer to prove his prowess and make his name for the side.

England would be eyeing a 3-0 whitewash. However, at the same time they would be keen to give opportunity to other players as well. With series being dead, apart from Anderson, England can rest his bowling partner Stuart Broad. In place of Anderson, they can bring in Craig Overton while for Broad they can opt for a spinner in Matthew Parkinson
