The hosts now have an unassailable 2-0 lead, and will be eying another clean sweep. Prior to this series England whitewashed Sri Lanka in the T20Is and ODIs, and are on course of another one. The visitors Pakistan will be playing for pride and could play with a little more freedom. Here are a few key players from both camps who could have an influence in the game.
The right-arm-fast bowler has been the finds of the series so far for England. Mahmood has picked up six wickets from the first two ODIs, which now takes his tally to 11 wickets from six matches. He has managed to pick the wicket of Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam on both occasions, and will be keen on carrying on his good run of form in the final ODI.

Hasan Ali was the standout performer for Pakistan with the ball in hand as he bagged a fifer for 51 runs in nine overs. In spite of the defeat, the 27-year-old will take plenty of confidence from his most recent performance, and could pose a threat to England. Ali has scalped 88 wickets from the 56 ODIs for Pakistan so far.
Although Malan did get dismissed for not in the second ODI, the opening batsman has displayed his quality time after time in white ball cricket. He is ranked the number one batsman in T20Is, and has had a decent start to his ODI career as well. From the five ODIs Dawid Malan has been in, he has scored five fifties, and also has an average of 52.7

Babar Azam isn’t having the best of time in the middle at the moment, but is too good of a batsman to not be picked in the Fantasy Team. Despite his poor show in the last two ODIs, Babar Azam has scored 3287 runs in 82 matches, while, having an average of 55.5.

Newbie Lewis Gregory stamped his authority in the most recent match against Pakistan, as he scored a valuable knock of 40 when his side needed the most, and also picked up three wickets in the process. With this being just his second ODI for England, Gregory will be soaring high in confidence for the third and final ODI.
