In their cricket history, India have seen many explosive batters who have torn apart their opponents at will, From Virender Sehwag to Rohit Sharma, there has been a long list of destructive batters. However, amidst all these names, it is interesting to see Virat Kohli as the batter who has scored the fastest ODI century for India.

In 2013, Virat Kohli was at the top of his game and he bashed Australia left, right, and centre. The right-handed batter produced two splendid knocks during the chase to win matches for India.

Meanwhile, the ICC Hall of Famer Virender Sehwag also features in the list twice. He has the second-fastest ODI century for India to his name. His whirlwind knock of 125* in a difficult chase against New Zealand in their home conditions was a testament to his prowesses.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are the latest entrants in the list after their performances in the World Cup 2023. KL Rahul smashed a 62-ball century against Netherlands to score India’s fastest century in the ODI World Cups.

Meanwhile, the Hitman Rohit Sharma smashed Afghanistan to score a 63-ball century. The legendary middle-order batter Yuvraj Singh is also on the list with a 64-ball century against England. Who could forget his eye-catching knock where he took the English bowlers to the cleaners despite struggling with a back injury?

Kedar Jadhav and Suresh Raina follow him next on the list, while Virender Sehwag features on the list second time with a 66-ball century against Sri Lanka in 2009.
